Architects, project managers, quantity surveyors

Every phase of the project, dated and verifiable.

From groundworks to handover, document progress, snags and decisions with timestamped, geolocated photos. Site documentation whose timeline can be verified.

An architect is responsible for what they supervise, and often blamed for what they did not see. Between contractors, the client and insurers, the timeline of a project quickly becomes a bone of contention. Proov-It gives you a verifiable site timeline, built up visit after visit.

At each visit, capture photos and videos in the mobile app. They are dated, geolocated and anchored on a blockchain. Attach the site inspection report, the annotated plan, the works order: up to 20 files of 100 MB per submission. File by project, package and phase in your business workspace.

On the day a snag is disputed, a delay is blamed on you or a defect is discovered, you produce items whose integrity can be verified. And you share them with the parties with acknowledgement of receipt, without emailing attachments.

Use cases

Site documentation: what a project manager certifies.

01

Site visit photos

The state of progress at every visit, dated and located, lot by lot.

02

Site inspection reports and works orders

Freeze the issued version and its date to cut short any “we never received it”.

03

Snagging list and snag clearance

Every snag photographed, then its clearance, with dates that count.

04

Handover of the works

The building as received, room by room, for the defects liability period.

05

Contractor non-compliance

Prove the defect, when it was discovered and the lot concerned.

06

Progress claims and deposits

Dated progress to justify or challenge a progress claim.

Why Proov-It

Why architects adopt Proov-It.

A timeline nobody can rewrite

The date, place and integrity of every item can be verified. Debates about “who knew what, and when” are settled on the documents.

Designed for the practice

Several colleagues, roles, folders per project. The First, Pro and Premium plans grow with your activity.

Risk-free sharing

Send a proof to contractors or the client with acknowledgement of receipt and validation, rather than an editable attachment.

How it works

A proof in three steps.

No jargon, no technical skills. You submit or you capture, we certify.

1

Choose or capture

Documents, photos, videos. Or take a photo or video directly in the app.

2

Add the context

A comment, tags, a folder. To organise your proofs and find them easily.

3

Submit

You receive a PDF certificate attesting to the file's existence and integrity on the anchoring date and, for a capture made in the app, the geolocation recorded at that moment.

Does it hold up in court?

In France, where Proov-It is based, evidence may be brought by any means unless the law requires a specific form of proof (Article 1358 of the French Civil Code). The EU eIDAS Regulation, which applies in every Member State, adds a non-discrimination principle: an electronic timestamp cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is not qualified (Article 41). In 2025, the Marseille judicial court (20 March 2025, RG 23/00046) relied on blockchain timestamps, recorded by a bailiff and supported by other evidence, to establish the prior existence of creations. It is a first-instance decision: it does not make a blockchain anchor sufficient evidence on its own.

A Proov-It certificate can be produced as evidence; the court assesses its weight. We attest to the anchoring date, the integrity of the file and, for a capture made in the app, the recorded geolocation, not the truth of its content.

Frequently asked questions

What we are often asked.

Can I timestamp site inspection reports?

Yes. Submit the minutes as issued: their version and date are frozen. You can send them to contractors for validation, with a timestamped record.

How is it different from site photos on my phone?

A phone photo is easy to redate and edit, and nothing proves it has remained intact. A Proov-It capture is born inside the mobile app, with its date and location, and its fingerprint is anchored: any change is detectable.

Does Proov-It integrate with my project tools?

An API and Blockchain-as-a-Service access are available on the Premium plan to integrate certification into your workflows.

How many submissions should I plan for?

Count one submission per visit or significant event. The Pro plan (125 submissions per month, 10 users) covers a busy practice; Premium has no user limit.
