Court-appointed experts, construction experts, insurance experts
Expert findings with a date, and integrity anyone can verify.
Every photo, video or recording from your inspections is timestamped, geolocated and anchored on a blockchain at the moment it is taken. Your report rests on findings whose integrity can be verified.
An expert stakes their credibility on their findings. In a court-ordered assignment as in an amicable or private one, the value of your findings rests on their traceability: when were they made, where, and have they remained intact since? Proov-It answers these three questions, for every item.
You capture your photos, videos and recordings in the mobile app, on site. Each receives a SHA-256 fingerprint, an RFC 3161 timestamp and a geolocation, then is anchored on a public blockchain. The PDF certificate lists these items and lets any party verify their integrity, without going through you or us.
Up to 20 files of 100 MB per submission: an expert meeting, a full site visit, a loss filmed from every angle, all fit in a single proof. You then organise your submissions by file, case or party in your business workspace.

Why Proov-It
Why experts adopt Proov-It.
A verifiable chain of integrity
Fingerprint, timestamp, anchoring: the opposing party can check for itself that nothing has been altered. Your neutrality is strengthened.
Built for volume
Photos, long videos, audio: up to 20 files of 100 MB per submission, and plans sized to the number of cases.
A case-file tool, not a gadget
Folders, tags, secure sharing, third-party validation, document comparison. Everything needed to investigate properly.
How it works
A proof in three steps.
No jargon, no technical skills. You submit or you capture, we certify.
Choose or capture
Documents, photos, videos. Or take a photo or video directly in the app.
Add the context
A comment, tags, a folder. To organise your proofs and find them easily.
Submit
You receive a PDF certificate attesting to the file's existence and integrity on the anchoring date and, for a capture made in the app, the geolocation recorded at that moment.
Does it hold up in court?
In France, where Proov-It is based, evidence may be brought by any means unless the law requires a specific form of proof (Article 1358 of the French Civil Code). The EU eIDAS Regulation, which applies in every Member State, adds a non-discrimination principle: an electronic timestamp cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is not qualified (Article 41). In 2025, the Marseille judicial court (20 March 2025, RG 23/00046) relied on blockchain timestamps, recorded by a bailiff and supported by other evidence, to establish the prior existence of creations. It is a first-instance decision: it does not make a blockchain anchor sufficient evidence on its own.
A Proov-It certificate can be produced as evidence; the court assesses its weight. We attest to the anchoring date, the integrity of the file and, for a capture made in the app, the recorded geolocation, not the truth of its content.
Frequently asked questions
What we are often asked.
Do timestamped inspection photos carry weight in court?
In France, evidence may in principle be brought by any means, and under the EU eIDAS Regulation (Article 41) an electronic timestamp cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is not qualified. The certificate is a piece of evidence whose weight the court assesses.
Is the geolocation of the photos certified?
It is recorded at the time of capture and written into the certificate for information. We recommend waiting a few seconds after opening the app so that the GPS fix is accurate.
How do I share inspection photos with the parties?
Yes, with a secure link, a request for validation or signature, and a timestamped record of acknowledgements of receipt.
Is my data confidential?
Your files are hosted in France, encrypted server-side, and never passed to third parties other than our technical subcontractors. Only the fingerprint, which reveals nothing about the content, is written to the blockchain.
